Train

Neilston station is less than 30 minutes from Glasgow Central Station. See Scotrail's website for timetables. Trains run every half hour.

From the ticket office, go up the stairs to the car park, and follow the road to the left. At the end of the road, past the Police Station, turn left onto Main Street and follow the road. The Showground is on the right.

Bus

The Number 4 bus runs every 10 minutes from Paisley via Barrhead. See Arriva's website for timetables.

From the M77

Take Exit 3. Signposted A726 Paisley East Kilbride. Turn towards Paisley, past Sainsbury's. Turn left after the Ashoka restaurant onto B773 Parkhouse Road.

At the roundabout, go straight ahead on to A736 Irvine Road (Barrhead Main St.) for about 1 mile. At the roundabout with traffic lights take 1st exit (A736 Irvine) onto Kelburn Street. Carry on past Tesco's, and up the hill.

Just as the road bends round to right, at the top of the hill bear left onto Neilston Road - Signposted Neilston.

Continue straight ahead up the hill, into Neilston, past the sign for Uplawmoor. Continue straight ahead on Uplawmoor Road, past the shops as if you are leaving the village. The Showground is on the right.
